Our principal lawyer Claire Riddell is the firms Legal Practitioner (Principal) and has a keen interest in family law, dispute resolution/mediation and in estate planning and estate administration.
Claire graduated from the University of Adelaide where as well as obtaining her Law Degree (2000) she also had obtained her Arts Degree majoring in Psychology (1997).
At university she excelled and obtained the ‘Deans Certificate of Merit for Family Law’- by achieving the top result for cohort at university that year. In 2001 she obtained her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
After working for Legal Aid- South Australia- for three years, she and her family moved to Hervey Bay Queensland in 2004, and she worked as Associate Lawyer for one of the premier firms in area- for 6 years.
In 2010 she ‘went out on her own’ and purchased law practice from one of the first lawyers to practise in the Hervey Bay area.
Prior to law, Claire worked in other industries including as a Kitchen Designer/Owner of Kitchen Manufacturing Company, Melbourne- Victoria; Manager/Owner LJ Hooker Real Estate, Normanville- South Australia Branch; Administrator/Owner – John Brown’s Home Services, Adelaide -South Australia; Financial Planner and Life Insurance Agent – MLC & AMP- Mildura, Victoria.
Claire enjoys working closely with her clients, ensuring that they are as comfortable as possible with every decision that they make.

Natalie is our office manager and assistant to Claire. Natalie is often the first person you will talk to when contacting our firm. She has extensive experience in working in legal firms and has worked for some of Queensland’s top barristers.
Melissa is our conveyancing clerk and assists you with your enquiries in both residential buying and selling of real estate.
Natasha is our firm’s office assistant and helps with the firms bookkeeping.
“Holly” is the star of our office- a very cute Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dog!
